VANITY: Are the ranks of FreeRepublic growing?

Given the American Conservative pot is boiling and bubbling, I wonder if the ranks of FreeRepublic are growing? Is there any way to track if the numbers of members on FreeRepublic have increased in number since the election and inauguration of President Obama?

I truly believe that forums like this are necessary to the freedom of our country, and I want to be heartened by the news that, yes, the numbers of new members and activities of old members are time for the masses to peaceably assemble and get really, fires-of-Hell mad.

This administration and the Liberals in this country are banking on our complacency. I want to know that I'm not the only one out here whose blood is boiling, and I want to know that we're not going to give up this country without a fight. It's time for action.

Both long gone I'm afraid. But I'm glad this thread has given me the chance to vent. This website was higly influential in the 2000 and 2004 elections, much less so last year, and in the future? I don't like the trendline.

Something posted earlier concerning Michael Medved could just as easily apply to you and any other RINO.

The Medved mindset is what brought us to this point of ruination, much like the mindset that led to millions of Jews mindlessly shuffling onto the trains to go to their certain slaughter.

Medved is a prime example of people completely unaware of their current position in the flow of history. Dead people walking.

As an example I’d love to be able to block the Gen. Chat, blogger, and religion forums so that I’d not see those post.

You can select say four of the nine options and see that four at the same time but not see the others? Where do you make that choice at? It seems to me you can select all of the above or one but no in between...

Glad it works for you but doesn’t for me. Example I want to follow under latest post the following forums, News/Activism, general interest chat, GOP Club.. Not how do I get those three forums to show up at the same time in latest post?

I have recently been to The 912 Project and American’s for Prosperity meetings. At each I asked those around me if they had heard of FreeRepublic. None had heard of FR. I asked if they have heard of Huffington Post and DailyKos...yes, everyone of them. I have FR business cards and passed them out and promoted FR as a premier conservative site.

I was truly shocked they didn’t know of FR. These are activist people attending activist meetings! Not Joe Blow on the street. FR people don’t seem to be joiners. We shouldn’t hide our light under a bush. If you want more active, knowledgeable conservatives....pass the word to those around you.
