So what is the problem if you do. Is it an insult? Would you prefer Roseann Barr or Whoopie Goldberg? I don’t see what the issue is.

Why Aren't Catholics (Especially Mexican Catholics) Rioting On the Streets

Because we don't riot in the streets. Muslims riot in the streets. What other people do does not affect my faith or religion.

Consider the following hypothetical. Let’s suppose someone has a pious mom who passed away. Now imagine, if she is revered by the neighbors, friends, and family. Would you see no objection if some trashy sexy tramp would now seek to portray her? And, here we are talking with the Mother of God.

Consider this. If you are a Catholic, wouldn’t you want Mary to be portrayed as a beutiful woman? I don’t know if she is trashy. She might be a devout Catholic for all I know. Why do you assume otherwise?

Oh yes! If she were a devout Catholic. But the giveaway is when one picks a supermodel where naked or semi-naked body poses is the art form du jour!

Well I didn’t get that from the article, but I didn’t read all of it.
