I rode North of St. Augustine to the Guana-Tolomato Preserve today, it is a peaceful change of pace.

Very pretty! May I ask the name of that pretty purple flower?

Purple Loosestrife.

Its a pretty flower but its bad news as an invasive species.

Very understandable. I don’t like laboring over digital post-processing at all, and admire the old-timers who knew how to get the shot right out in the field.

Thank you. It looks like a very nice (and quiet) place. I guess you didn’t see any wildlife, or we would have seen it here too.

Hubby and I love to go walking on the weekends, and this place would be ideal.

It was the wrong time of day, not much moves in the hot part of the day.

Hey Swampy!

You sure you didn’t take those out in my front yard?! LOL

Loved them, as always! Meant to tell you and didn’t have time, we loved the clip you posted the other day about the sardines! Hubby works for marine fisheries and he showed it to all his buddies.

Have a great day!

The loosestrife looks like a water version of Liatris, or Gayfeather that grows in the limestone alongside our roads in the Hill Country.

Mad dogs and Englishmen...

It’s still pretty, and your skill and the quality of your pictures never cease to amaze me.
