It makes sense to me...
Firstly there are lots of sights to see that look WAAAAY better at night than in the day, the Bellagio fountains, the Eiffel Tower @ Paris, The High Roller ferris wheel, the Venetian resort and the Wynn, Treasure Island with it’s pirate ship, The Mirage with it’s volcano, and The Sphere...
It should look really great on the tele (as the Brits would say).
Also the late night race in the US of A makes for a nice Sunday morning race for the Euroweenies...

I’m only an azzhole on the 33’rd of each month

This race can be a spectacular race with all the neon lights at night. Then again it may be a disaster with half the cars piled up in the tough first turn on cold tires. I will be watching it, but of course, a recorded race on Sunday morning.

I was this close to buying last minute tickets and I heard the start time. I’ll be happy to watch on TV later. Cold track, sharp corners, I have a feeling this may end up rivaling the first Nashville Indycar Grand Prix shitshow.
