I always thought he was the most overrated driver on the grid, especially at his salary. He seems to have as many lives as a cat, career-wise.

I don’t think it is possible that he will do well for the rest of the year. The car sucks. Max would do poorly in that car.

Musical Chairs with one driver missing... more pressure on Perez since next Daniel could do up to RedBull and Perez down to AlphaTauri.... Advantage of two teams, of course I’m waiting for Lawrence Stroll to buy AlphaTauri for that exact reason for MMMMMM?

I don’t think it is possible that he will do well for the rest of the year. The car sucks. Max would do poorly in that car. "Doing well" relatively speaking, of course. If Ricciardo outscores teammate Yuki Tsunoda for the rest of the season, that is probably doing well enough to move up to Checco's seat.

I think you are right and if Ricciardo finishes the rest of the season averaging around the tenth place would be an amazing seasom for him.
Even with that I don’t see Checco being replaced. He has had some weird things happen in qualifications but has run very well in the race.
