I don’t think our US currency should be defaced in any way. It’s just wrong & you could be arrested if caught or maybe even snitched on.I don't think it's defacing a coin to place a removable sticker on it...of course, I've been wrong before.

The coins will be rejected from vending machines as well as coin counters. If placed on bills they will be rejected by the self serve check out cash machine.........
Cash tellers may or may not accept them depending on their moods.......is it worth an argument?

yes it *is* defacing US currency....until the sticker is removed. There are better ways to get the 0 commie message out, w/o doing something illegal. Ask a cop. I’ll bet he could arrest you for it.
