Fedor vs Lesnar will have to wait a few years.

Dana being professional as always.

Strikeforce has a deal with CBS and Showtime, so no PPVs.

This is an awesome development.

Fedor fighting on free television hearkens me back to my days of childhood watching Cassius Clay fight on Wide World Of Sports with my Dad and Uncle.

Any FReepers who have never seen Fedor fight you are missing out on something amazing and special.

Fedor is a chubby bald Russian who looks harmless and rarely changes his expression. He demolishes the opposition in decisive fashion. He is the best MMA fighter on the planet.

I particularly admire him because he is a Christian and quite humble and regular, softspoken.

Also because he is chubby, now everytime I see myself in the mirror in my undies I don't see some fat old guy, all I see in the heavyweight champion of the world.

WAR FEDOR!

I would like to see Fedor beat Lesnar, but he’s acting like he’s avoiding Lesnar.

‘He is the best MMA fighter on the planet. ‘

That can always change in the ring.

As per his body, never judge a person by their appearance.

Royce and others destroyed that myth years ago.

Lesnar stands at least some chance at beating Fedor based upon the X-factor that he naturally is.

Beyond that, I’m done with Fedor.

The problem is the matches will be boring in StrikeForce. Fedor will demolish the second string guys StrikeForce hires and it will become mundane. After watching a guy dominate one fight after the other it become stale.

Fedor vs Lesnar will have to wait a few years.

I don't necessarily think so. Strikeforce could fold like EliteXC, or be bought out by the UFC like Pride.

In a bad economy, people are really only going to spend their $50 on what they know will be a good show, and the UFC has proven that you'll get your money's worth 9 times out of 10. Strikeforce will have a hard time competing.

I'll bet we see Lesnar/Fedor within 18 months.

Fedor doesn’t need UFC, but UFC needs Fedor.

I watched a YouTube of Fedor dominating Nogueira for the Pride title, and I was impressed with the way Fedor had obviously trained to defeat Nogueira’s specific skills.

Fedor is a very serious fighter, and perhaps the most well rounded fighter in the world.

UFC 4:
Dan Severn beat Royce Gracie for 15 minutes...

... then the anaconda choked Dan out!
