Hmm, nice but how many men does it take to get it upstairs?

1500 pounds.

I don't know if it's a good idea to put that on the second floor of your house, or even the first floor if you have basement.

Looks sturdy, but I don’t think anyone would be fooled by this.

Nice bed frame. Is that on loan from the county lockup?

The old portrait safes and safes made to look like wood cabinets are a total knock-off, that is the first place a thief would look. I think that bed would fall into that category as well, it is just too obvious what it is. Although, at 1500 lbs. I don't think anyone will be carting it off and it looks like you'd have to dynamite it to break into it, LOL!

I used to help my husband (now ex) design and install hidden rooms for gun storage in people's homes many years ago. He also made some coffee table safes that looked just like normal coffee tables. There is one website here who has those types of tables, although ours opened from the bottom of the table vs. the top as theirs does, via a latch unless it was locked with the key. I did a quick search and there is at least one other company that makes gun safe furniture. While they are easier to break into, they are harder to detect.

¼” thick steel 140 lb. hinged doors

Criminals can't get into them because they're not strong enough to open the doors. Ditto the owners.

Well, if your spouse passes away you can just slide the mattress over and save some money on internment.

Major design flaw. There needs to be an opening on the side for quick access at night.
