Well, says “various locations”, so I guess that means at least more than one.
Now I admit I’ve heard some grumblings about Mexico. The biggest chunk of income to the Mexican government is oil, and supposedly receipts and production are dropping fast. A few analysts say it can end up meaning only one thing, that millions of Mexicans might just head north.
But a hypothetical like that doesn’t seem to me to be as “urgent” or “solid” as this ad does.
Almost sounds like they know we’re gonna get hit by a comet or something! (I know, I know, looney tunes material). No matter what, something more definite.
It’s the use of “resettlement” that baffles me. “Internment” can simply be read as the internment of any prisoners anywhere anytime, in foreign countries, during war, etc.
But RESETTLEMENT? Why that word? What do they have in mind? A comet strike, as you said? What?
