It’s fantasy time for those who cannot accept the fact that Obama was elected president by both a popular and electoral majority. One of the assumptions that the Founders made when setting up our republic was that people would be mature enough to accept election verdicts not to their liking. It’s disrespectful to the electoral will of the people to so ardently hope that the nation’s choice will be proved ineligible.

I think it’s payback to the RAT “Bush-selected-not-elected” morons from 2000.

He either is or is not eligible under the Constitution. The People cannot override the Constitution, except by going through their representatives in Congress and the state legislatures, or through the Convention process, which has never been used. They can't vote in someone who only 30 years old, or has lived all but the last 10 years of is life in foreign countries. They cannot.. well you get the idea. The people are party to the contract that is the Constitution, just as the state and national governments are.

For you see, we are not a Democracy, where the "dictatorship of the people" or "3,000 tyrants one mile away" can do whatever they please.

We are a Republic, a Free Republic.

Very eloquent Colonel. If your statement represented the whole story behind this issue, we who question zero’s credentials would have to accept the verdict and STFU. But, there are too many unknowns about this guy. I cannot see how you could be totally convinced of his eligibility on just the COLB that has been produced. Let’s see the document that any one of us would have to produce just to get a driver’s license.

It is even MORE disrespectful for a lying crypto-marxist demagogue to employ skullduggery, lies, deception, forgery, intimidation and the shield of political correctness held aloft by the stenographers in the MSM to hoodwink the American people into electing this incipient tyrant.
