My absolute favorite car in my life was a 1951 Mercury convertible, red in color, with power windows, and every thing a 1951 could have in it. This was my brother-in-law’s car and I still remember it! What a car!

My dream vehicle would be one with more than enough acceleration to get me through New York traffic stupidity where seconds matter, good fuel economy due to New York triple extortion tax on fuel, and handling that makes one weep with envy.
*sigh*
Unfortunately, such a vehicle is way out of my price range.

The Aztec and it’s spinoff had two different design teams, one for the front and one for the back.
Neither team spoke to the other.

Good story, you survived, lol.
That car I posted is a Retro1956_Buick_Super_Roadmaster calex. Note the ‘portholes’?

In my links on my Profile page I have an old thread that John Robinson posted. Apparently some complained about graphics using Free Republic bandwidth and John explained that the graphics are hosted elsewhere and do not use FR bandwith.
I know that they can still slow down people who are on dial up connections because of the loading time.
