(CNN) — Despite his campaign-trail promises, President Obama has failed to change the partisan tone in Washington, Arizona Sen. John McCain said Friday.

"I'm afraid they have," Obama's former presidential rival told CNN's John King when asked if the administration has 'failed' in delivering on its repeated pledge of bipartisanship.

Poor Mac, still stuck on stupid. He should be kissing Sarah’s feet or else he would have lost every single state. What a dufus. He actually thought Obama was bipartisan. OH MY GOD. How did this idiot make it passed the primaries. I knew Obama was a Marxist pig the second I saw him, yet this guy who is so has been in the senate for how many years, couldn’t see it. Nothing gets passed Johnny Mac does it

Like anyone with any sense really believed he would. Obama is the radical liberal’s liberal ‘Rat. That is the native animal in DC. He isn't going to change anything. More likely, he'll wallow in it. McCain is really dumb if he honestly believed Odumbo would be any different.

John freely let himself get punked. Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers, Rezko, .... should have been household names.

When he said that to that elderly woman during his town hall meeting, my jaw literally dropped. Everyone in the room booed. I said “Well there you have it, Obama just won the election” McCain mind as well have driven Obama to the White House and dropped him off at the front door. McCain never gave a damn about fighting for US, never had it in him, he was pussified because he didnt want to make the media angry at him for smearing the messiah

"President Obama has failed to change the partisan tone in Washington"

Hey John, I don't give a rip about the freaking "tone" in WA. Let it be ultrapartisan -- it doesn't bother me a bit. I do care about the out-of-control spending, the government takeover of private industry, the tax hikes, etc. ...some of which YOU are guilty of supporting.

Either McCain has completely lost his mind, or he deliberately took a dive at the election.

Either way, he's sold his country down the river.

It must be electrical interference bouncing off that metal plate he has in his head. When asked; “What went though your mind when you first knew you had been shot down?” McCain’s reply; “OH CRAP!; I have been shot down!”

The man is brilliant I tell you. Certain proof that we as voters lost the election 3 different ways.

or he deliberately took a dive at the election.

That's something I've been turning over in my mind since we lost the dern thing. I've heard others say the same thing. I do believe that "that lil' ol' gal" he totally misread surprised him and it was UH-OH time.

What an idjit.

I rarely see an explosion of disgust for one individual (McCain) on threads, outside of Obama.

Just as well that McCain lost.

If he won, he would “reach across the aisle” and encourage passage of the all the crap that Congress is currently doing. When nothing worked, Congress would blame him. The media would go along. And the Dems would increase their Congressional majorities.

Now at least, there is on one to blame but the Dems as they run everything.
