I seem to remember President Clinton reining in the CIA after the left hammered him on the Harbury and CIA/CRACK issues. Many in the MSM were running stories asking, “Do we still need a CIA in the post-Soviet world?”

Is there some reason he needs CIA briefings now when he didn't avail himself of the opportunity when he was President?
