John Gibson had his radio show dedicated to letting people try to convince him that he should be a birther, and I have to tell you, I was not convinced myself. Very flimsy stuff. A lot of the stuff people offered was just flat out wrong information.

I don't think this is arrogance, as I figured before... he just doesn't have one!
They are trying to put the fire out by pidgeon-holing the protesters as extremist kooks, but the military lawsuit that has been filed can't fall in that category, and that is one lawsuit the SCOTUS will likely find hard to ignore.
This might be the time to crank up the pressure with some protests in DC?

Until a commercial is made of a dozen or so foreign born Americans holding up their “certificates of live birth” issued by the state of Hawaii, many people will just not understand what is being argued...
I was born in the Dutch West Indies (now Aruba) of two American citizen (married) parents “living abroad”
In my case (per law in 1947) my “official certificate of birth” is a long form document as prepared by a local represaentative the US Dept of State
Thus for passport documention, etc to “prove” my American citizen status the offical record of my birth is permanently retained in Washing DC by the Dept of State and that is where I have to go to request / receive and offical copy of the original document
The problem with this is that, I assume that Hawaii did not
KNOWINGLY give out birth certifications to foreign born, but that someone could walk in and say, “I had a baby this week”,
even if it was on the street, and “I need a certification of it.”
What is the state to say?
Not all babies are born in a hospital, and if Obama was born in Hawaii, I do not think it was in a hospital, otherwise, I can think of no reason for his continuing to keep the certificate sealed.
She has lived in the USA since 1984, when she was age 14.
She has worked in the USA since the early 1990’s.
According to Wikipedia, she is a USA citizen.
She would have needed a Hawaii COLB for a number of things, like her first driver's license or a USA passport.
It would be very interesting to see what place of birth information is printed on her COLB.
Just a few days ago a spokesman for the state of Hawaii said that foreign born Hawaii residents have their foreign place of birth printed on their COLB’s.
However, none of the “journalists” on the conference call asked about Maya's COLB.

It's real easy, you just need two witnesses to lie under oath.
Well, of course there is the well known case of Sun Yat Sen, who of course, was not born in Hawaii, yet possessed a “Certificate of Hawaiian Birth”.

A lot of this could be avoided in the future if we had requirements for minimal records before a person could run for President. Proof of citizenship, relevant academic and medical records. Didn’t O himself rise to power originally by taking down an opponent by getting divorce documents released or something?

Paper birth certificates or photostatic copies were NOT detroyed. They are still available, but it takes a court order for anyone to obtain it.
