Note: other than the anecdote related by Microsoft's Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner, who is unlikely to be the target of a call from Apple's legal department, and who has already been known to exaggerate, no one has been able to confirm such a call was ever made. Having been burned in the past, Apple historically sends mail when legal issues are involved to provide a corporate paper trail. Turner has not provided names or dates about who called and when.

Apple, the computer of Liberals. The company even reacts to truth like Liberals. Apple can't stand the heat so they whine. Hee hee.
Once Windows 7 hits the market Apple will lose even more market share...and whine even more.

Apple makes custom computers for Industrial Light & Magic. At around $50,000 each my friend told me.
They’ll still have an income.

Oh and also, many, many recording studios use Macs as there probably aren’t compatibility issues with software and hardware, and god knows people always have those issues with Windoze-based computers.

Mac’s are not the domain of liberals, even if APPL’s Board is liberal.
Moreover, this story is pure FUD - most likely never happened. Was discussed 2 weeks ago and discounted heavily by those who deal in such matters - not necessarily APPL or MSF fans.

"Apple, the computer of Liberals." Fourth comment: Ad Hominem.
The FR Tech thread formula: Mac users discuss computers. PC users smear Mac users.

A fire axe works just as well.
But then you have to buy another one.

Apple here and Apple exclusively since 1985.
I'm not Liberal, or a whiner.
And Windows 7?... geez you've managed to be wrong three times in one post.
Nice.

“Too bad, Lauren, that XP disc came with the last computer you purchased and the license states it’s only good for that computer. Unfortunately, XP isn’t available at retail anymore, and Linux doesn’t work well with that laptop.”

Apple, the computer of Liberals.

In this undated Dittocam capture, Rush Limbaugh uses his 30'' Apple Cinema Display connected to a Mac Pro during a commercial break of his radio show.

Karl Rove photographed on Aug 6, 2007 using his iPhone while President Bush surveys the damage caused by the collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis.
Care to rethink your demonstrably false assertion, troll?

Apple, the computer of Liberals. Rush uses a Mac. Bill Gates is also uber-liberal, and his dad in charge of his foundation is a former member of the board of Planned Parenthood.
To: Terpfen; Sudetenland
Actually, Rush isn’t just a user, he’s a fanatic. About the happiest I’ve ever heard him was when he got IIRC four new completely loaded Mac Pros. He was positively fawning over them on the air.
To: Sudetenland
I have three Macs...I’m not a liberal.
Try that logic again...

I remember that segment. He was like a kid at Christmas. And who could blame him? The Mac Pros he purchased are great towers.
Admittedly, I’m a little envious of him: I can’t even afford the 24’’ Apple Cinema Display for my 2008 unibody MacBook, but he’s got a top-end setup both at work and home.
Must be nice to have a multi-million dollar contract, eh?
