I like Romney...the hatred of him by some conservatives appears to be over the top...I sense some underlying anti-mormon bigotry
It’s true he’s too comfortable with a lot of socialist programs for any real conservative’s taste. But unfortunately, so is most the country, so anyone who’s even remotely electable will be too comfortable with socialist programs for our taste. When conservatives refuse to support or vote for an electable candidate, it just ends up handing elections to far-left candidates like Obama.

I do not hate Romney ( I voted for him in the NJ primary against McCain ), and in general I like Mormons. But I do think that Romney is a slick synthetic phony who would say anything to get elected. He is a capable manager, and would be a big improvement over Obama. But then I also think Joe Biden would be an improvement over Obama. Biden for POTUS in 2009!
There's plenty of that around, but it's usually confined to the "Religion Forum."
I'm a Mormon, and I do not care for Romney: too phoney, too eager to please everyone, too squishy.
I already used that line in my original post.
You are a good liberal...label your enemies, but I personally don't give a shi! about your opinion...its like an a$$ whole, everyone has one..
What Romney Likes: 'I like mandates, mandates work' - Former Gov Mitt Romney during the GOP presidential debate.
Not sure what's to be over the top about, the Huckster's worshipers pretty much believe the same thing - Mommy Government will do it for you. Someone make sure to wake me when the GOP starts thinking that multi-TRILLION dollar deficits might be something to run against.

Can’t speak for anyone but myself on this. Romney’s religion has nothing to with my being against him....it is because he appears to be a flaming RINO that I am against him. To use the religion card, the gender card or the race card like so many do means only one thing to me: claiming victim status which is a very low form of cowardice.
