It’s true he’s too comfortable with a lot of socialist programs for any real conservative’s taste. But unfortunately, so is most the country, so anyone who’s even remotely electable will be too comfortable with socialist programs for our taste. When conservatives refuse to support or vote for an electable candidate, it just ends up handing elections to far-left candidates like Obama.

I agree...ideal conservative? no way...more electable than Palin?...yes....McCain is almost a liberal but the nation would’ve been a hell of alot better off if he had been elected..we absolutely can not afford Obama to be re-elected...Romney is a decent guy, good family man, and is a 60% conservative
