“The vice president said the United States has freed millions of people from oppression.

“I think the fact of the matter is, the United States has done more to advance the cause of freedom, has liberated more people from tyranny over the course of the 20th century and up to the present day than any other nation in the history of the world,” he said.”

Dick Cheney said the above.

I'm not so sure anyone could really stick a number on that. One of my sons has made strong acquaintances with several Iraqi soldiers. One had his nephew kidnapped. Iraqi troops freed his nephew unharmed using techniques taught to them by our troops. Freedom is the gift that can keep on giving and multiply in numbers uncounted.

I think your right of course, I’m basically just trying for rough estimates here to make a point, but thank you.

Thank You all for all your help, I went about it in a slightly different way, listed countries liberated instead, much easier to find info on, thanks for all the help.
