Mickey Rooney was slowing down in 1939. After all, he would turn 19 in September. He only made six full-length movies this year, after eight in 1938.

The Saint in London with George Sanders and the absolutely gorgeous Sally Gray. Good movie. Far better than most anything made over the past several years.
