Paul Abdul may not return to "American Idol" for a ninth season, her manager claimed in a new interview with the Los Angeles Times.
"She's not a happy camper as a result of what's going on. She's hurt. She's angry," David Sonenberg, the "Idol" judge's manager, told the newspaper on Friday.
David, who said that he became Paula's manager just weeks ago, at the end of June, added that he has yet to receive a proposal for a new contract for Paula.
"I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful," he said. "I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven't stepped up and said what they want to do."
The result of the stalled negotiations, David said, is that Paula is unlikely to be back on the show she's judged for eight previous seasons.

She had just divorced Emilio Estvez claiming she really loved his brother, womanizer Charlie Sheen.
Beckerman was obviously a raging homo——how dumb is Abdul that she didn’t know?
They divorced shortly after.

Ryan Seacrest sucks as a host and based on his talent, he is grossly overpaid. American Idol should replace him wit Cat Dealey and their ratings will start going back up.
Idol brought her back from the dead and this is how she repays them? Instead of getting down on their hands and knees and thanking God every waking moment for their incredible success they look for ways to be unhappy...It never ceases to amaze me.
She will be back. This show is successful because of the original four. The show will make things right. Not to worry folks. In January, all will be good and another season of the best family show in history will be back to it’s stellar self. This is just a way to get some controversy going during the summer.
