The Massachusetts Republican Party has really been a useless "political opposition" and a "weak, empty shell" against the profoundly dominant Massachusetts Democrats, since the late 1940's, and now, I see this same political pattern just starting to happen at the national level!

When the Republicans regained control of both the House and Senate in 1994 after 50 years of Dem control, how many laws did they reverse, how many federal programs did they eliminate and how many agencies did they close? You could probably count them on one hand. So it really doesn’t matter too much if Republicans take back the House and/or Senate in 2010. It will still be business as usual.

Then I guess we’ll have to figure out something else. Like commitment, caring, work, association, teaching.
See you at the tea party.
