46 threads and 18,640 replies. Countless hours engaged in conversation. Numerous events attended. An ulcer, a 45 pound gain and frustration everytime I read something about our incompetent, Marxist, illegitimate President.

Folks, I am done. I seriously need a break from the day to day blogging about the one thing that concerns me most, our Country. It has affected my family, my friends and my collegues. All I can think about is witnessing the destruction of Democracy by a gang of criminals posing as Communists, with a complicit media.

For me, carrying a sign no longer cuts it. I am a member of the NRA and licensed to carry a gun and yet I never bought one. Yet every day when I pass a sporting goods store I find myself browsing, looking for the only tool that will protect my family when the Gestapo comes knocking.

So before I get too radical and do something stupid, I am going to take a break, readjust my priorities and try to enjoy whatever freedom I have left.

Jim, thank you for all your work to keep our Country free and Conservatism alive. It is your hard work and dedication that helps keep our nation strong.

Kristinn, I never said Hillary should be assassinated. (lol) O'Reilly totally misrepresented that remark.

To the rest of you, Keep up the fight. When the manure hits the fan, I will be standing alongside of you. Right now though, I need to get some rest and spend some quality time with the people who matter most to me.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to take a break. No shame in that. We all get a battle-weary. As for me, I take complete solace in the fact that God is in complete control and that I do not have to manage His affairs, I merely have to obey Him and do whatever He has for me.

I share your deep concern over what is happening to our country as I have young children, but I also know that ultimately it is up to Him to bring about the course correction that is desperately needed.

I have take mental health breaks too. I bought a couple of toys to ease the stress.

I find poking a few holes in hateful heads helps a lot. I linked to the large size so you can save it and print it for your use.

I also immerse myself in nature, loosing all sense of time for a while.

Then I return to the fight, refreshed.

This works for me, maybe it will work for you. Don't go away, just recharge, refocus and stay with us. We need you.
