It seems Jessica Simpson got an unwanted birthday present for her 29th Friday – according to People magazine, boyfriend Tony Romo broke up with her the night before.

A source close to the singer, 29, told People that she was “heartbroken” at the news.

“She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show ‘The Price of Beauty.’ They decided to part ways.”

That's the sad part of beauty and stardom. It can really screw up a life. She needs a nice quiet professional guy and significant distance from the microphone until she can regain her balance. She's really a very nice person.

She just got caught up in the celebrity thing and its been tough on her. There are legions of guys who crave her. She needs to find someone that likes her. Fortunately for her, she's plenty young enough to recover and "live happily ever after."

I have a close friend who works for the Cowboys and has confirmed that Johnson has been seen around the complex and the new stadium...however...they are still friends and college roommates so until ESPN announces Phillips is being let go I'm not putting a lot of stock into the rumor. Besides, Johnson makes a lot of money doing what he does now and doesn't like to leave his resort home in Florida.

But on the other hand....Jimmy Johnson was a guest of Jones at the George Strait Concert that opened the Stadium and Phillips was not there.

LOL! I live in Arlington, Jerry found a way to pay for that stadium several years ago...me and all of my neighbors paid for it!
