Demented? Last I checked, I’m not the one crying about my phone on internet forums instead of getting it fixed and I’m not the one who took a good natured remark and flipped out yelling at me like I’m some husband who ‘always makes it about you’.

All iphones have cameras.

When I used the Blackberry Storm, it was really laggy.

You can multitask if you jailbreak, but that’s a legitimate gripe for sure.

Oh. you are demented. Sorry. It wasn’t an insult to the person, it was an insult to the STUPID POS PHONE...or are the two indistuinguishable to you? Are the ads real? Does the guy called Apple really think he is one? This is freaky. I made a post expressing an opinion, got ZERO help, a bunch of ads were run for Apple and ONE PERSON suggested that I take it back, which I will...this will be the last time I mention A P P L E anywhere...cripes, I could have a better time and feel more welcomed at a DUmmie convention...

My wife loves to use 3G for browsing, etc, so she keeps it on all the time.
Doesn’t kill the battery life, but she docks it whenever she’s home.

I do hate all her alarms (work, pick up the kids, etc.) because they never stop. They’ll keep going until the unit dies or until you manually stop them.
HATE THEM.

"I am on my iPhone for one thing or another pretty much all day long."

So you're one of those people.

Which is true. Apples are not that popular outside of the US and Canada.

Who gives a rip what is used outside of North America? Am I supposed to feel sorry for some Chinese hacker being forced to use Windows like yet another lemming?

Wow, you’re off your meds again.

Listen, if I want to have an argument with someone irrational, I don’t need you for that.

Psst!! I don’t even believe you actually HAVE an iPhone. It’s okay, it’s an official disease. It’s called Machausen By Proxy disease, where people read about problems with devices and go around posting on forums pretending that they have those same problems.

I hear they’re working on a cure. In the meantime, you’ll need to take your thorazine or it’s the quiet room for you.

No, you don’t. You can keep talking to yourself. Bye.

Like most subjects discussed on FR, the satire is indistinguishable from the serious.

Yes.

And besides that was a I fvcking talking to you? No. But if people are going to cry about a percentage being reported then they should know the facts. The rest of the world could give a sh!t about Apple and these dramatic increases in OSX usage is not over the PC side but the smart phone side. There, now go not give a sh!t to somebody else.

Ya, but they’re a bunch of wussies with no guns. It’s us Linux users that you have to worry about. ;)

Got an iPhone 3G for Fathers Day. It sucks. Battery life is about 10 minutes and it costs a fortune each month. Unless you get one given to you and you don’t want to hurt any feelings, don’t touch this POS with a ten foot pole. The network is crappy, the upgrade was only marginally better...it is junk.

I use a PC and a regular cell phone. But I bought an iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago. It has most of the junctionality of an iPhone but without the phone.

The iPod Touch is the most positive experience I have had with technology in years. I get to listen to my music and look at videos wherever I go. It also allows me to do my email without carrying around my PC laptop.

I went to an Apple store yesterday to look at a clock radio that uses the iPod. There was a line to buy the iPhone. From my experience with the iPod, I will definitely be buying an iPhone when the contract with my present cellular carrier expires.

The iPhone doesn’t have a phone?
The 3G has one (3mp) and the 3GS has TWO.

And I can spend MONTHS testing out iPhone applications on the web.
Not so for the Storm.

;)

My daughter had a 1G iPod and we never bought a single song off of iTunes. RTFM next time.

He didn’t say you have to buy them. He said you have to use their software, which you do, unless you jailbreak and hack something together.

It will be a cold day in hell before I buy a song in the itunes store, but I do use the program to load songs onto the phone.

Yeah, I have an iPod and a Bose docking station for the kitchen and it has worked great for years. I am a huge fan...I have a LOT of music and itunes loaded on an external drive on my PC...I’ve got a 5:1 Altec surround system on the ‘puter with a good base and it sounds pretty good, for a computer system...and a good sound board...I am so disppointed by the phone, though...I am hoping that they will replace it for me as someone suggested and maybe it is that particular phone after all...

I-pod Touch..basically an I-Phone without the phone..is the greatest thing going. I use mine for e-mail, reading Free Republic, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, reading books and using some of the handiest “aps” many of them free. No phone plan needed ..uses any wi-fi source for Internet access.
