Just how man “Von Erichs” were in the wrestling business??
man=many
He was not a real Von Erich. See the article.
The real Von Erichs in the business were the father, Fritz (deceased), and his sons, Kevin (living), and David, Kerry, Mike, and Chris (deceased).
Kerry, Mike, and Chris were suicides.
His first son, Jack, died at the age of 7.
In reality, none. Remember, this is wrestling.
LOL - according to Wikipedia, his signature move was the “Blitzkrieg Dive”. After all he wasn’t German, though. “Waldo” is a dogs name in Germany, not a human name. Perhaps it just sounded typical German to him.

Waldo not related to the Von Erich wrestling famly although he and Fritz tagteamed for a while and shared a submission move called the Iron Claw.
Yes. Adkisson is the real family name.
I never saw “Waldo” perform.
I had Rikidozan’s autograph on a Japanese wrestling ad but lost it somewhere on the trip home.
RIP.
I saw Fritz Von Erich in 1960 or so. After the event was over and the place was nearly empty, Fritz Von Erich and Yukon Erich got into a REAL fight. A bloody one. The remaining 50 or so people were hustled out. It was a brawl. lol
I remember Fritz, but not Waldo.
I saw a match between von Erich & Gorilla Monsson at the Baltimore Civic Center in the mid 70’s. Monsoon won.
