Jeez, cant a little girl cry over the loss of her dad? Sure, but just because she cried doesn't mean he was a good father. Children often love even horrible parents if that is the hand they've been dealt.
Bottom line, junkies don't make good parents.

I didn't mean Paris was distasteful, I meant it was distasteful for the family to put her in that position...

How do you know for sure about anything?
As for his being a “junkie”, I read that all he wanted to do was sleep. The drug Diprivan, should they find it in his system, was to knock him out, not get him high. He had insomnia. I took Demerol, too, for my back. That doesn’t make me a junkie. He had back problems.
Regarding the “molestation”, a jury acquitted him. Who are you to say he was guilty?
Even if he were, would Jesus have forgiven him?

Heartbreaking. He probably WAS a good father, he was very childlike and probably fun for kids. WE think he’s weird but the kids probably loved that weirdness. It’s all they were ever used to.

Even if he were, would Jesus have forgiven him? Yes, He would have forgiven him if MJ had asked for it and turned away from repeating this behavior. We don't know what was in MJ's heart.

The man she knew as her dad is dead. Very sad. The worst part is all the money grubbing bastards that made these kids sit through this and then get up and speak.
Shame on them.

I think you are correct, I just saw the headline about her on MSN site and was shocked that they used this child in such a manner, she should be protected, not exploited and parading her out on the national stage like this is pure exploitation.

To: SouthDixie
Maybe she wanted to speak at her dads funeral, ever think of that?

Jesus knows the heart and struggles of each and every person
He knows we might sin over and over again...What makes us strong is living in the word.....
The Flesh is weak, it is the Spirit that is strong in Christ.

Here we go again, thinking we know the whole story when none of us do. Maybe she ASKED to make a statement.

To: Watershed
That’s true, but I don’t know how many times MJ might of asked for forgiveness, just like no one knows how many times I have asked to be forgiven, only Jesus knows that...
