"Daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine."

Here is a comment I read on TMZ that I thought was funny.
“Could they have been more awkward with the poor girl . You can tell those people have some serious competitive issues......
Ill adjust the mic no I will no I will well Im gonna rub her shoulder , well Ive got this side so ha . Im gonna grab her and hug her first no I will. They certainly played it up for the camera didnt they Papa Joe taught them well. I feel bad for the kids but his brothers and sisters just looked like they were competing for who looked the most caring but came off as trying a little too hard. They should have let the kids mourn in private but I guess it was just too good a publicity stunt to pass up.”
Here is an interesting thought I read somewhere else ...
what child says “since I was born my father bas been the best dad”
It sounds like a script being put together to fight a custody battle.
I am not so sure the whole thing wasnt scripted.
Of course, I am sure she misses her father.
This daughter didn't. My father was morose, manipulative and cold, and nothing I ever did pleased him. I found out too late that he had a lifelong mental illness. He always refused point-blank to see a doctor, so he never got the treatment he needed. However, the damage to our relationship had already been done.
“That little child has no idea how a father is supposed to act. What love from a parent really means. Once again she has been exploited by the Jackson family.”
What complete and utter nonsense!
Sorry to hear that. I should not have made it so concrete. I am glad that you became such a great person regardless of your father.
Katherine is 79 and I assume Joe is the same age or a little older. I don’t know what he could really do to them. Physical abuse seems unlikely — at 11 and 12 respectively, Paris and Prince Michael I could presumably handle old Joe. My instincts tell me these kids will stick together and look out for each other. I suspect if Joe ever laid a hand on “Blanket” the older two would teach him a long overdue lesson (and from what I’ve heard of Katherine, she wouldn’t try to stop them). Remember, these kids have grown up surrounded by Nation of Islam “security men”, and I expect their father taught them not to trust Grandpa Joe.
She “collapsed” in tears into Janet’s arms. Pretty normal for an 11 year old at her father’s funeral. I can see why she would have wanted to say something. Such a long parade of people who didn’t know her daddy anywhere near as well as she did, were sharing their snippets of memories of him.
The older two kids are old enough that I expect they’ve pretty well absorbed what Michael tried to teach them about relatives exploiting children. They may prove tough to exploit.
I have a feeling these kids have had plenty of Internet access and thus a lot more perpective on their unusual situation and on what people say about their father, than most kids this age (since most kids won’t find much if they Google their own or their father’s names).
I said it earlier:
1. We will now probably see the children being displayed all over the place: THEY will become the monkey money-makers of the family.
2. Ironically, the kids will come to hate being white (like evil mom) so much that (like daddy) they will destroy their looks by trying to be black.
Wasn’t nanny part of Farrikan’s group? And wasn’t she fired about a year ago?
Yes, and they were there to shove bitterness and hatred down everyone’s thoat.
May I buy an “r”?

RE: “Maybe she wanted to speak at her dads funeral, ever think of that?”
**************
I agree with you — nothing about Paris’ few words seemed staged or coached to me. Everyone else was speaking and Paris wanted to say how she felt. Good for her — the whole family is clearly, sincerely grieving. I thought all things considered the whole event was well done and went off without a hitch. Congrats to my fellow L.A. residents for not going nuts and rioting or something equally obnoxious.
Who is her dad, anyway?”
I heard somewhere that it was the dermatologist
Now this little guy on the right, he looks like a Jackson. Where did he come from?
I didn't, I have more major character flaws than anyone else I know! But I do try my best to overcome them.
Agreed. The past week has been all about making Jackson seem normal. I’m sure he loved the kids, which is not the same thing as being an incredible dad.
“And what normal person will those children be living with?”
What was normal about Michael Jackson? How does a drug addict make a good father? A good role model? The public perception of what the Jackson clan wanted us to see, with the doting father Michael and his children, and what reality was, were two different things. All these reports coming out about numerous track marks all over his body, how could you be a good father and be wasted all the time? If Jackson did that many drugs he either had to be sleeping or higher than a kite. I would guess that the kids spent very little quality time with Daddy, and more time with the nanny.
My point was that there is no one “normal” in the family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, that thing the press calls their “mother”) to take them. I hope for the best for them, but fear some variation of the worst.
