had a chat with a lib re: Palin's resignation at the office.....paraphrasing...
Lib: …she quit before her term was over. How could she possibly expect to be President? How reliable is she, walking out on her responsibilities?!...
Me: …Obama left the Senate before his term was over. So you agree he shouldn’t be President?
Lib:…that’s different. He wasn’t the boss. She was the governor, in charge of the state…
Me: …so you concede Palin has more executive experience actually running something than Obama?
Lib:…er,…..no…….but………….(drools)………….(head explodes)

A co-worker just HAD to make a jab at Bush every single time he spoke to me. Political discussions were frequent, and vitriolic.
Now he says absolutely nothing political.

I have one. Brit/Lib who hates Thatcher so much that she was wishing her dead. A few weeks later she was saying that women should lead everything and the world would be better. When I said, “I know you are kidding” she said, “Am I?” Guess she forgot about the Thatcher thing.
