But a far more important issues are his passport records and registration at Columbia and Occidental College. Was he registered as a foreign exchange student. That is a serious probability.
Also his trip to Pakistan before college.
This will not go away. It will eventually be brought to light. I am surprised that with as many “powerful” people he has made enemies with due to his actions, that none of this has surfaced.

However, the answer is always that you don't denounce your US citizenship. If he was natural born he will always have US citizenship.
As for scholarship fraud, if he had two citizenships, given that he couldn't renounce his US citizenship, he would, at worst, be guilty of fraud.
