“Yes, I have read it a number of times. Some of the things that were once posted there have changed. At one point the issue of the “birth announcement” was stated to have been a forgery, but it appears to have later been changed to state that the source was library microfilm.”

Correct A forgery would involve finding some unexposed 1960’s microfiche or microfilm stock and re-shooting the entire roll of microfilm or the whole sheet of microfiche with the alterations. Then you would have to track down every library copy and substitute the new film or fiche for the original. Outside Hawaii, this would involve checking at least the main library for every state, the main library for major cities, and major college and university libraries. You’d have to get every original and substitute the fake. Good luck with that!

And how many libraries in HI have been consulted to make comparisons? Do you know of any, or is it just presumed? The newspapers when asked could not substantiate the purported image on the Internet. Do newspapers keep microfiche copies of their papers?

No, the type of forgery issue that I read about was in print form. It appears they later found the actual microfilm.

Those earlier references appear to have been removed from TexasDarlings website.

There is something serious with the Birth Certificate issue, it is illogical for this to be allowed go on this long. Unless there is a real issue here. It does not pass the smell test.

Here is a reference to the discussion about the birth announcement being forged. Seems like I also saw this discussion on TexasDarlings site, but it is not there now.

Hear is an unworking link to Texas Darlin that might have been a previous reference.
