On this Independence Day, I am so very proud of all those who have chosen to serve our great nation and I honor their selflessness and the sacrifices of their families, too.
If I may, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the last 24 hours and share my thoughts with you.
First, I want to thank you for your support and hard work on the values we share. Those values led me to the decision my family and I made. Yesterday, my family and I announced a decision that is in Alaska’s best interest and it always feels good to do what is right. We have accomplished more during this one term than most governors do in two – and I am proud of the great team that helped to build these wonderful successes. Energy independence and national security, fiscal restraint, smaller government, and local control have been my priorities and will remain my priorities.

Uh Oh...Am I the only one who has heard rumor about a contractor building her house for an ice rink contract? Please tell me it is not really an investigation.

If that were the case as some have said she would have to get out in front of the bomb shell and admit it early and resign for good.
There’s no way she’d be scheduling speaking events if this were true.

This is just the opening shot of the Palin Revolution. I read that she is already going to event in California on August 8th, the first of hundreds I suspect, over the coming few years.
I find it interesting that her resignation will come a day or two before SarahPAC’s numbers will be posted on the FEC website. My bet is that the amount raised, and the number of donors will be significant.

But it does make since. Why put your family through more and more just get it over with right now.
If there is a problem, fabricated or not, I like the idea of getting it over with. A good leader will deal with a problem sooner than later, so if they are coming after her, she will be freed up to kick some butt.
I believe the libs and the state run media will destroy her, however, if she should receive the nomination in 2012, she will receive every dollar I can afford for her campaign.
I am disgusted with the republicans who have let all these attacks happen to her with out hardly any of them coming to her defense!!
