When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. These are powerful and truthful words; words that officially launched a war; words that birthed a nation. These words, written by Thomas Jefferson and crafted with the collaboration of Benjamin Franklin and John Adams, brought forth to the world a country based on the philosophies of Cicero, Aristotle, Hobbes, Burke and Locke to name but a few; philosophies derived of a comprehensive understanding of Natural Law.
Over the years, and because of our adherence to the words and philosophies of these great men, we have evolved into a nation that serves as a shining beacon of liberty and freedom for all the oppressed of the world. The United States of America, throughout its existence, has served as the vehicle of hope for tens of millions who exist and have existed under the oppression of the tyrannical everywhere in the world.
Yet today, as people lay dead and dying at the hands of Islamist despots, simply because they dared to quest for freedom, the leaders of our nation the elected caretakers of the beacon of liberty and freedom stand indifferent to a call for solidarity; they exist deaf to the pleas for help. As pro-freedom protesters take their lives in their hands in pursuit of liberty, the leader of the free world extends a hand in friendship to the very Islamist tyrants whose hands are stained with the blood of the innocent.
In Honduras, the military, judiciary and Honduran congress removed that countrys president because he was attempting to illegally extend his tenure in office attempting a bloodless coup in usurpation of that countrys constitution. The people of Honduras in the form of that countrys military, judiciary and congress stood up to tyranny by exorcising the Marxist cancer that threatened that nations sovereignty. Yet, the leader of the free world and his secretary of state sided with the tyrannical, calling for the reinstatement of ousted despot who tried to destroy their democracy.
Today, it would seem, the United States has seated as president a man who possess no value for the tenets of Natural Law; who sees no duty to maintain the beacon of freedom and liberty; and who purposely and deliberately turns a deaf ear to the cries for freedom from every corner of the Earth in deference to the will of the one-world philosophy of neo-Marxism.
When in the course of human events...
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Our Founders and Framers also believed that government was a creation of the people, instituted not to lord over the people, not to legislate its collective personal philosophy unto the citizenry, but to serve the citizenry; to guarantee each citizens rights, whether that citizen is of the majority or the minority.
Today, the citizenry has either abdicated its right of power over government, forgotten that government is derived of the will of the people, or both. Regardless of the reason, the citizenry of the United States stands delinquent for the most part in its responsibility to provide not only oversight to the governmental process, but to its responsibility to protect government by virtue of the election process from the politically opportunistic and those whose goal it is to destroy our country.
As we stand witness to an egregious abuse of power by the Executive and Legislative Branches of government in the legislation and execution of exchanging public funds taxpayer dollars for special interest ownership of private sector companies, many of us recognize that we stand at a moment in time when the counter-culture revolutionaries of the 1960s and 1970s neo-Marxists who adhere to the philosophies of Saul Alinsky and Frankfurt School are now in control of our government and that they intend to re-invent our nation in an effort to transform it into a Socialist Democracy, not unlike the failed model of many European nations.
Today, because of neglecting our constitutional duty to civic responsibility and governmental oversight, politics has replaced government and Marxist collectivist ideology has replaced the philosophies and belief systems of our Founders and Framers and we have only ourselves to blame.

Today, we are told by the powers that be that if you believe in defending the United States Constitution, that if you believe in the sanctity of our Charters of Freedom, that if you believe in sovereignty and allegiance to our great nation, that the Department of Homeland Security considers you someone about whom they should be concerned. What a difference forty years makes.
As we celebrate the 233rd anniversary of the birth of our nation, no doubt we will all enjoy the pomp and circumstance, the family gatherings and community events, and rightly so. We are right to celebrate the incredible achievements of those great men who had the vision of liberty and freedom, not just for our country, but for all men and women everywhere and anywhere. But as we celebrate, I dare say, it is time for some solemn reflection.
As we celebrate the birth of our nation we all need to evaluate what we have done each of us to serve, protect and defend our Charters of Freedom from the nefarious. We need to be honest enough to ask ourselves whether we have really sacrificed anything at all for our liberty and freedom, gifts bequeathed to us by true patriots at a cost of so much blood and treasure throughout the ages.
As we gather to commemorate the true sacrifice of those who successfully executed the American Revolution, we need to honestly ask if we have really given of ourselves in defense of our country. Have we researched the candidates beyond their bumper sticker talking points? Have we researched the backgrounds and philosophies of those who would lead our country beyond the blather of talk radio and beyond the agenda-driven mainstream media? Have we supported grassroots programs meant to educate the next generation in preparation for their ascendance to the helm of leadership? Or have we been nothing but narcissistic and self-centered, leaving the hard work of protecting our country to others while we selfishly reap the benefits of the oversight and protection they provide.
It is time that we ask ourselves some hard questions. It is time that we ask ourselves if we are, indeed, patriots. It is time it is time to rededicate ourselves to the preservation of our country and the extension of freedom and liberty for everyone and anyone, everywhere and anywhere.
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

It saddens me actually. The big celebration in this city is Flag Day in June, yet, here our beloved 2nd and 6th Presidents of our nation lay in the basement of a church, now known as the "gay church"...how they must turn in their tombs below this ridiculous legacy...not the legacy they so valiantly gave their hearts and souls to.
Happy Fourth of July! Remember the letter from John Adams to Abigail calling fourth the celebration our “our nation”.

Adams was asked by the New York Historical Society to deliver the address, doubtless, because of his own unique qualifications:
He was 9 years old when his father was a primary force in the room when the Declaration of Independence was adopted, 20 years old when the Constitution came into being, served as Minister to the Netherlands under President Washington, as Minister to Prussia and to Russia, as Secretary of State, and as U. S. Senator. He was the Sixth President of the U. S. and from 1830 until his death in 1848 was U. S. Congressman.
His final paragraph is a powerful exhortation:
"Fellow-citizens, the ark of your covenant is the Declaration of independence. Your Mount Ebal, is the confederacy of separate state sovereignties, and your Mount Gerizim is the Constitution of the United States. In that scene of tremendous and awful solemnity, narrated in the Holy Scriptures, there is not a curse pronounced against the people, upon Mount Ebal, not a blessing promised them upon Mount Gerizim, which your posterity may not suffer or enjoy, from your and their adherence to, or departure from, the principles of the Declaration of Independence, practically interwoven in the Constitution of the United States. Lay up these principles, then, in your hearts, and in your souls - bind them for signs upon your hands, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes - teach them to your children, speaking of them when sitting in your houses, when walking by the way, when lying down and when rising up - write them upon the doorplates of your houses, and upon your gates - cling to them as to the issues of life - adhere to them as to the cords of your eternal salvation. So may your children's children at the next return of this day of jubilee, after a full century of experience under your national Constitution, celebrate it again in the full enjoyment of all the blessings recognized by you in the commemoration of this day, and of all the blessings promised to the children of Israel upon Mount Gerizim, as the reward of obedience to the law of God."
