Yngwie Malmsteen - America Needs No Change
An exclusive series of Living Legends Music interviews with Yngwie Malmsteen. Part 1 of 3. Recorded on November 2nd, 2008 at Burrito Boarder in St. Petersburg, FL.
If you are not aware of who Yngwie is...do a Wiki or Google search. One of the most respected rock guitarists from the 1970s and 80s lays out what America really is to him coming from Europe.
A Swede understands what DUmocrats never will...
Back in the mid 80’s, I did audio for a number of his shows; fantastic guitar player, but what a grade A jerk he was then, don’t know about now as I’m retired from the entertainment business. The guy used to go through crew like no tour I ever worked on.
One of the more popular tee shirts that ex “wingnut” techs used to wear said “You don’t scare me, I worked for Yngwie.”
Yes, and I think it took a lot of guts to get on state alone in front of a hostile and booing crowd and do what he did and the way he did it.
Harry Cody is my favorite from Sweden. Didn’t care much for the band he was in (the 2 lead singers sucked) but, his guitar playing was amazing.
