“I will be able to die knowing I had met my soulmate"

You'll be able to die an adulterer too.

You may have changed partners, but you probably haven't changed your habits. The things you once said to your wife, you've probably said to your mistress, and the things you've done with your wife, you've probably done with your mistress too. I hope your wife takes you to the cleaners. The sooner the better.

You might, you know, want to, you know, reconsider what you said about, you know, raising children counting as gubernatorial experience. You don’t want, you know, to share the philosophy of that, you know, vapid and vacuous Caroline Kennedy. You know?

I hope Chalupa, or whatever her name is, is at least a decent person, and not just some floozie who ruined a family.

You 2 are my favorite smartalecks on this site, but Clear Rivers did such a great job here, I’d like to invite you both to compete.

We know one thing about her, knowing all he had to lose, she never told him not to come...down to Argentina, I mean.

I keep reading these comments he is making; are they for real? Or is he this much of a love sick idiot? Once he is out as governor; she’ll no longer have an interest in him...the attraction will go puff...he is not that great lookin’

Someone said the husband leaked the emails. Even with all Sanford’s yacking, I’m really confused.

re: This is beyond embarrassing. I have to wonder what his proclaimed soulmate is thinking while watching him carry on with this way-too-public play-by-play of their affair. I highly doubt she is turned on; rather she is probably cringing, moving (maybe to another planet), and changing her phone number.)))

And where's the pictures of her in the National Enquirer?

I reject the “soul mate” concept, but if he had spent more time caring for his wife and less chasing skirts, he might have found his soul mate where he was supposed to find it.

In my opinion, I think the stimulus fight really took a toll on Sanford and something about him snapped. This is kind of a heterosexual Jim McGreevey moment.

BUMP what you said. With the thrill of sneaking around with a famous American politician gone, this woman will be looking for a way out real quick. What on earth would she want with a dog like Sanford?

Soul mates come, and soul mates go, and so do idiotic politicians.

I wonder what she does when he's not in town.

Practicing?
She isn't pining away, I'm pretty sure about that.

I don’t know about that...supposedly his wife found out in January because she found a letter he wrote to the Other Woman. The State newspaper had the emails for a while but not sure how they got their hands on them. Apparently they were not sure of the authenticity until he made the trip down there. I am not sure of the time line. Part of the problem his his explanation has been rambling plus he has added and changed things.
