The word is out that the Obamas will be spending part of their summer vacation in Martha's Vineyard. "Many blacks from Oak Bluffs are elated that the Only One-in-Chief may be joining them. "People are going to lose their minds!" Tonya Lewis Lee says.
At the same time, there's also a bit of wariness among the wealthiest ones, an uncertainty whether Obama will affirm them. "Obama is more a man of the people," says a Vineyarder who's part of black high society. "He doesn't seem to identify with affluent black people. His wife definitely doesn't; she is basically a ghetto girl."

To call a Harvard lawyer a "ghetto girl" is absolutely ludicrous.
The dynamics of black society is very difficult to understand. We are probably the only race that has prejudices against other members of our own race. This anonymous member of the black elite simply said was what is said among her group.
If Mrs. Obama were light-skinned with hazel eyes maybe she might be a little more tolerable, even though she was raised on the wrong side of the track.

I don't know who fathered those kids, or why, though I expect that will come out before all this is over. As for his tastes in women, I can only speculate. My own husband is white, but wanting to be white myself had nothing to do with my marrying him.

Absolutely NOT! I think MJ wanted to be white and I think he wanted his kids to be white or ht would have used his own sperm and had a black surrogate. He only chose white women and wanted his kids to be white. He should have stayed as he was when he was young. He had the world on a string and wasted it all away. Such a shame. He was an adorable child, then he turned himself into a freak.

I had a friend in NYC, white/Jewish, slightly olive skin who had vitiglio on her face and hands. She used creams over a period of time to whiten her skin.
During the period when she was deciding whether to go forward with the cream, the docs warned that she could never go in the sun again but she chose to have her entire face be just one shade.

it already did come out. His white plastic surgeon fathered the 2 from the blonde wife. She is not the mother either, she just carried the babies. The other one they don’t know who the parents are but they said MJ is not the father. They don’t know who the father or mother is. Very weird.

I KNOW I’ve heard the term “white trash” bandied about amongst my white friends. Who didn’t know, as a child, who was from “the wrong side of the tracks”?
I can only speak of my own experiences; but I don’t think that either elitism of hatred of the “haves” is bound in by race.
In fact, Debbie Rowe didn't say anything. This report is coming from a faction within the Jackson camp, leaked out via US Magazine. And we all know how trustworthy and reliable US Magazine is.
The truth won't come out until the court orders DNA tests. Until then, lots of people will be saying lots of things, not a bit of it relevant.
Nothing of meaning will be said concerning the children's paternity until August, when the permanent custody hearing convenes. Then the real players will come out from behind their proxies, and the "fun" will begin.

My point is, we don't know. We don't know if he had vitiligo, we don't know if he had lupus, we don't know if his sperm were viable, we don't know the true parentage of the children. Some of these questions will be answered in the coming weeks; some may remain unanswered.
All we can know is that he was an enormous talent that lived a tortured life and died too soon.
