Next Taxpayer Bailout Aimed At Failing Union Pensions

Hundreds-of-thousands of multi-employer defined benefit union pensions are underfunded. The unions’ only hope is to force more and more companies to fund these massive failing pension plans. The companies will no longer be economically viable if they are forced by the government to fund these failing pension plans.

At my company, they are cutting everywhere to insure full funding of pensions, and the next step will be laying off long-term employees, such as myself, to meet this committment.

At 62, I will have to take my retirement four years earlier that I had planned to do so.

Obama doesn't want to share the wealth, but rather equalize the misery and get whittie at the same time.

Oh, they will muddle on. They want to raise caste and become a top teir defence contractor, but I don’t see that happening when they decimate their experience base to do it.

In the case of the Teamsters’ Pension, the taxpayers could cut out the middleman and just give the money directly to the Mob.
