I have to say my favorite episode of the Zone (the old one), would have to be The Obsolete Man...
I really like the Dr Who special.. Personally I think that James should be the new Doctor.....
I also liked Virtuality..
What I liked:
1. The Science behind the show
2. The subtle Trek refernces in the show.. Guess
What I didn't like:
Global Warming crap..
It was a good show... I doubt that Fox will pick it up...

I couldn’t make it through Virtuality, and it wasn’t even the bogus Global Warming story line, it was that it seemed more a soap opera that just happened to be on a space ship.

I’m still pissed about Sarah Connor Chronicles being cancelled!

I don’t think Fox will pick it up.

Impact is a tad heavy on the sentimentalism. Otherwise, it was an okay disaster movie.
Virtuality was so-so. The story could have been told in a hour. It was slow. Apparently, it isn’t being picked up as a series by Fox.
Merlin isn’t doing too well in the ratings either.

“The Obsolete Man”... one of my favorites also, along with “Hocus-Pocus and Frisby” with Andy Devine and a cast of Hollywood codgers. Great stuff. The BBC offering, “Primeval” is pretty good.

For those who have the Chiller channel: there was a Poltergeist the Legacy marathon today, which is basically showing the episodes that will be on this week. It's starting back at the beginning again (although the two-part intro episode was on Thurs-Fri).
Poltergeist: the Legacy has nothing to do with the movie franchise. It draws more of its influences from The X-Files, if anything. I've seen a few good episodes, so I'm giving it a shot. Plus, I'm done with SG-1 (meaning, I've finally seen all the episodes from the beginning).
Still catching up on old "Primeval" episodes while taping the new ones.

By the way, I loved last night's Doctor Who and I have to say (highlight for spoilerish comments):
I wish that guy had really turned out to be a future Doctor. He had the part down really well.Next up Torchwood and then some more Who.
I'm going to hate that long, dry spell we'll have before the next real season comes around.

I didn’t see “The Next Doctor” on BBC America, I couldn’t wait for it and obtained it from “other means” when it was originally aired in England.
I was in pure fanboy heaven when the past incarnations of The Doctor were shown.

Yep same here. Good show but I am so sick and tried of the global warming tie in it is getting be like the ever so ubiquitous evil plot of the CIA, ARMY, (Insert United States of America Intelligence or Military institution name here), Right-Wing(pick you favorite),or the run amok patriot general who wants to destroy all freedoms and peace loving beings so he can rule the planet garbage that is being done over and over.
Hey writers would you just try to be original once in a while!!!

Okay, I SWEAR that there is Sci-Fi content to this link,
but even if there wasn't, how could you pass up a link entitled:

It was an ok show, not a great show. Captain Pike? Hah. That aside, didn’t care for the global warming thing, yet the many references to how the company lies to the astronauts makes me wonder if the g.w. in the show was a big fat hoax, much as it is in real life. If Fox doesn’t pick this one up, guess we’ll never know.
