I watched a couple of of episodes of Pitchmen. Mays came across as a loud mouthed, bitchy, little pussy.
I feel sorry for his family and friends for his death but he certainly was not a character to be admired in life.

I have to admit watching the show Pitchmen gave me a new respect for Billy Mays. I like how his people actually test the heck out of the stuff they sell... and how they reject the stuff which doesn’t work as advertised.

I knew there was a reason I put on a blue shirt today...

The other day I dropped a sauce covered meatball on one of my favorite white shirts. It didn't wash out, instead leaving a massive orange stain.
Suddenly I though of Billy Mays and Oxy Clean. I wondered if my oxygen based sanitizer I used for home brewing might work on stains too.
It did.
Many thanks Billy, rip.

Mays was on board a US Airways flight that blew out its front tires as it landed at a Tampa airport on Saturday, MyFOXTampa.com reported. US Airways spokesman Jim Olson said that none of the 138 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises, according to the station.
Authorities have not said whether Mays' death was related to the incident.
That's weird.

He was just another guy who wanted to build himself up in America. You can say his pitch was annoying but he wasn’t slick and shady like that shamwow guy. He was a real dude and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was at a tea party to stick up for all the Joe the Plumbers that are getting shafted by Obama.

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays. I hope the Shamwow guy decides to stay home during thunderstorms.

Rest in Peace, Billy!
No doubt he suffered a bad head injury when that plane he was on blew out the tires landing in Tampa.
Sad story.
