Real Networks launches RealPlayer SP

Real Networks, makers of the RealPlayer music and media management application, have launched a new version of their software. RealPlayer SP for Windows is available immediately as a beta download, with a Mac version expected by the year end.

    IMO, the best video player going is the GOM player. 
 
 www.gomplayer.com
 
It just works and its easy to adjust if you need to do so. Also has a very simple and good screen capture capability.
Works as a music player also, but I like JetAudio for that.

    GOM is free.
I will check out the one you mentioned. I watch a lot of videos/movies on my computer and GOM is small and works.

    Most of their previous releases were bloatware whose goal was to take over and dominate your computer in favor of their software including adware and spyware to report your internet entertainment preferences. Do you know if this is still the case with this release?

    Buddy I do not know. I went to the link to look at this RealPlayer SP and didn’t see much, if anything, about it.

    Sorry, should have added.. /s ..to my posting. Their earlier versions had a RECORD button you pressed to record the audio stream to a .ram file on your hard drive. 
 There is other software out there that will do that though and it's on my Christmas list!
