OK, before I head to Urban Dictionary, what does “not guilty” mean in a context like this?

An attractive woman is never guilty in the eyes of a male freeper.

A less than attractive woman is guilty. As charged.

Guilty and not guilty refer to the cases of female teachers being arrested for sleeping with a male teenager for statutory rape. It's expanded to pictures of any woman. If she's attractive, not guilty.

I chalk it up to office humor.

Well, from what I’ve seen here, I think it’s a “FReeper thing”...

When you get these FReeper threads where a high school boy and his female teacher have a fling, FReepers say “Guilty” or “Not Guilty” in regards to the teacher and how good she looks... LOL...

If she’s as ugly as a dog, then she’s Guilty. If she’s a super-model type, then “Not Guilty”...

That’s the way it goes here, anyway.

Old FReeper tradition, dating back to the "naughty teacher" ping lists (female teachers accused / arrested for sex with male teen student).

When a picture or mugshot of the accused is posted, she is proclaimed "Guilty!" or "Not Guilty!" depending on her looks. And then a chorus of "Where were these teachers when *I* was young?" posts.

Cheers!
