Ensign came right out with it immediately and even mentioned blackmail. Sanford doesn’t appear to have played the game correctly and now suddenly we have names, emails, addresses and we didn’t even know where he was this morning.
Granted neither would have happened if they hadn’t screwed around on their wives but somebody was digging up the dirt long before these ever came to light. Two GOP leadership positions vacated.
Why, why, why can’t these men keep their pants on? Why do they think no one is going to find out? Why do they think they can get away with it? Why do they want to step out on perfectly attractive wives when the price will be a long political career?
