Police in Oklahoma City said a man waiting for a bus punched another man in the mouth and stole his bologna and cheese sandwich.

Roger Hamilton, 24, told investigators that he was waiting for the bus Wednesday at the Hudson Street bus station and preparing to put mayonnaise on his sandwich when he noticed a man, described as African-American and in his 30s, staring at him, The Oklahoman reported Friday.

Hamilton said he asked the man if he could help him and the other man responded by punching him in the mouth and running off with the sandwich, which the police report valued at 76 cents.

Police said Hamilton had a swollen lip and his face was covered in blood when they arrived at the scene.

Bologna, cheese, and mayo?

I’ll bet it was Wonder Bread and not 4-grain whole wheat.

I wonder what price they put on that.

They were probably arguing if it was baloney or bologna.

Boar’s Head commercial to follow....

I used to like the radio spot where an older man with a Jewish accent goes into a deli, after he has his order filled the counter man asks him: “How about a little fresh tomato. The man responds in his best Jackie Mason voice: “No thanks, my wife is in the car!”

Too bad he didn’t choke on it. I bet the victim would have given him some of the sandwich if he asked for some.
