They are banned in Miami. I believe first they required a large insurance policy to own one, then a couple of years later they were banned.
Interesting. I'm not against people owning these dogs, but the breed needs to be recognized as an exotic animal, and people who own them should have to meet certain strict qualifications for permits. Similar to owning big cats and such.
I notice from that article that they followed the lead of other “illegals”, and moved from Dade up to Broward and PB.
