I’m a huge animal lover but I have to say this... that “breed” needs to be exterminated. They are dangerous, unpredictable and their jaws are lethal.

When I was a kid, we had a terrific dog who was half border collie and half standard chihuahua (he looked like a short-legged border collie). We had him from the day he was born so I know he was never abused... and he would go freakin’ INSANE if a man with a hat came on the property. God knows what he thought the hat was. I’m just glad he wasn’t a pit bull.

Moderator, why do we constantly have these stupid pitbull posts on the Freerepublic? It is getting a little tiresome to see these stories day after day, hour after hour. They seem to suggest that if we had more government regulations it would solve the pitbull problem and then we could move on so more government would have more time to regulate our lives.

You want to take this chance? Watch these dogs, that is not normal for dogs. Rottweilers have been known to do the same. Neither are a good choice for a pet in my opinion.
