I doubt it.

During the Iran-Iraq war they used to send crowds of their own nations children to clear mine fields.

when a few thousand Venezuelan mothers simultaneously receive letters stating that their sons were killed in a humvee accident while nationalizing an oil field, we will know the truth

I don’t think Iraq needs to still be in it. I’d add Russia, China, Pakistan, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia though.

Pinging because we are news junkies and want to know these things. #12 might be of interest.

BTW, yesterday, I registered at Twitter to follow up-to-date Iranian news. Thanks to those who helped me through the maze.

I think the reports on Muslims from Hezbollah and Palestine seem to be verified....not so with that from Chavez’s country.

In the mean time the stupid suit is golfing, taking his wife on a $250,000.00 date or a $14,000,000.00 vacation at the tax payers expense.

This is nothing new. This same stuff happened during the revolution to overthrow the Shah.

>This is not good. The bad guys are uniting and the West is
>not even sure who the enemy is.

“Who can stand against the union of the Two Towers?”

I tell you, J.R.R. Tolkein was a prophet. A people blinded to their enemies, as their foes unite against them.

Keep in mind that just because it comes across the twitterfall doesn’t make it true (not necessarily false). That’s the problem with these twitter posts: they’re generally good to point to stuff to look for, but should not be taken too seriously until we start seeing multiple confirmations.

Venezuela troops were landing at an airport ...thugs of the world trying to support each other....no word on any from North Korea however...probably not big enough to stand up in a real fight!

In order for the North Koreans to send troops, the Iranians would need to send fuel for their transports, both air and sea. In fact they might have to send the transports.

We’ll be facing troops from some of the worst totalitarian states when that Marxist meat puppet calls for help for his failing regime.

Who's got the popcorn concession?

Remember what Admiral Yamamoto said (supposedly):

"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."

Now he might not have actually said that, but he was right. However, after the most recent gun buying frenzy, combined with that in the time leading up to the assault weapons ban, as well as for a time thereafter, there would now be two rifles, or a rifle and a handgun. Grass is a bit hard to come buy down here in "extended drought" South and Central Texas, but I've been out scouting for a good cactus.

During the Iran-Iraq war they used to send crowds of their own nations children to clear mine fields.

Only possible because they were fighting foreign Sunnis, and they were attacked. A bit different in this case. Still I tend to disbelieve this, because they've got plenty of Revolutionary Guard fanatics from the hinterland to take care of the problem for the Mad Mullahs and Angry Ayatollahs.

Cheers!
