Peter Schiff Video Blog - Japanese have "unshakable confidence"
Peter Schiff Video Blog ^ | June 12, 2009 | Peter Schiff

Japan unconditionally endorses US dollar.

TOPICS: Business/Economy
KEYWORDS: economics; japan; schiff
This is either outright deceit or Stockholm Syndrome by the Japanese, or a truly commendable cultural commitment to a failing ally (Obama/Geitner America). In either case, I am sad to see the legendary Japanese honor wasted on the Federal Reserve fraud, and Obama's lying deceit as foisted upon our allies.

Seems they had “unshakable confidence” right up to August 6, 1945 as well.

Dittoes--the answer is probably both, which makes me feel ashamed. I even feel ashamed for the Chinese, because they seem to still know what the word "honor" means.

The best thing that could happen to America is for them to dump the dollar--right this minute. The longer we have to wait, the worse it's going to be.

Remember, there's always a scrute lurking behind anything that seems inscrutable.

Except sometimes.

The Asian cultures understand the concept of “savings” which is what a sound economy is based on. In America, not only do we shun savings, but our politicians enact policies that make savings less desirable.

Looks like Pump and Dump. But then there are those two Japanese trying to dump some mega bonds in Europe. Perhaps we have Pumping while Dumping. Not a pretty site, which obviously caused the Japanese to Take One for the Dipper.

Even if they had misgivings, they wouldn’t express it publicly.

Even rats leave a sinking ship. Captain Sotero sailed us straight onto a reef...Message to Japanese: ABANDON SHIP!

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed the video.

Obviously the Japanese were pressured to say this. Very sad because coercing another country to engage in falsehoods to prop up the dollar shows how far this deceitful administration will go in maniplating allies or anyone else to do their bidding. It will catch up with them.

1. They’re helping us to save face, and the fact is that it may well be more expensive for Japan to NOT say such ridiculous things, as they already hold SOOO many dollar-denominated assets.

2. The US market is a key one for Japan.

3. Security in the Asia Pacific Region is helped a efforts to put a (material and semantic) floor under the dollar.

THANKS JAPAN...! You tried.

Yes indeed. Having had a close professional relationship with Japanese business, having made several Japanese friends, and holding a deep respect for Japanese culture, this strikes me as a particularly sick exercise on the part of the disgraceful American Coup.

Obama has no honor, and has nothing but contempt for individuals who do.

破廉恥

(scandalous, shameless, infamous)

Or perhaps they know something we don’t know yet.

It would be foolish to classify the Japanese as a culture which does not pay attention to detail.

Why would 50% of the 30 year debt at auction on Thursday be bought by foreign governments?

Why would other governments buy our long term debt knowing they will lose big on inflation from debt monetization?

Unless the big boys already know something we don’t.

Japan is our best friend and needs us, even with Obama is president(pathetic as that is) . But China does not have to say such nonsense. Its not insanity. Japan needs to arm again.

Collusion. A rising tide lifts all boats apparently.
