Change the title to “Man on 2 small glasses of wine attempts suicide”, & you might understand why this is stupid. If you have ever had 2 small glasses of wine, you would know that is NOT why he tried to kill himself.

It is more likely that the pot smoking kept him from killing himself before now. If a suicidal person takes medication to prevent suicide, & he kills himself anyway, do you blame the medication?

This man has a deep & huge pain in his soul. He self-medicated himself with pot & likely alcohol & other drugs to kill the pain. But the medication did not work.

I’d be curious to know how much alcohol was in his system. That is usually the thing that pushes people beyond reason.

It is always something else that causes the problem according to the pro-grass folks(I will give you the benefit of not saying pro-drug people).

On the contrary, it is "always" the drugs that cause the problems rather than the users themselves. Typical ignorant nanny attitude.

If drugs are so dangerous, then why is the MOST dangerous & destructive drug - alcohol - still legal?

Do you believe the gubmint should tell you what you may & may not consume?

Careful how you answer - if you dare - because the eco-police are just around the corner, waiting to get the green light to kick in your door, terrify your family, shoot your dog, trash your house, & confiscate your property, as they search for illegal food, high wattage bulbs & appliances, & the like.

So enjoy the nanny state you support. And enjoy meat, fat, alcohol, sugar, fast food, & the last vestiges of privacy you have for a little while longer. When they are gone, look in the mirror & say “It is the law, so it must be right”. Well duh!

Take a look at Genesis 1:29 in the Bible. Then search the Constitution for the part that says the gubmint can tell you what you can & cannot consume.

No, stoner I have personally seen too many people that I have known and cared about destroy their lives with drugs. It is a combination of the drugs AND the person. Earlier I tried to give you the benefit of not thinking you were totally pro-drug, obviously I was wrong so I must ask: Why do you pro-dope people cry “nanny state lovers” about people that disagree with you.

“Why do you pro-dope people cry “nanny state lovers” about people that disagree with you.” If the shoe fits ...

If you can't read & comprehend my prev. post then you deserve the police state you have helped create.

FYI, I am not pro drug, but anti-police state & anti-nanny state. Most conservatives are. The roots of the nanny state are in Prohibition & its follow-on, the War on Drugs.

People who ABUSE drugs have physical/mental/emotional problems & need help, not arrest. Their problems will never be solved in the courts or jail. ADULTS who use drugs recreationally & do so responsibly, are a threat to no one & do not deserve to be criminalized. Children who use drugs need help & parents.

If you support the Drug War, then you support the nanny state & the police state, whether you understand that or not.

“stoner” - oooo! there's a convincing argument. (Mommy! The scary poster called me a bad name!)

Just because you have seen & known does not mean you have understood. We have all seen multitudes killed with guns. Should we ban guns? My teen neighbor died “huffing” PAM through a wet wash cloth. Shouldn't the gubmint ban most household products to protect children? Alcohol, the drug of gov’t choice, kills & injures thousands every year, & destroys the lives of countless more. Shouldn't we re-institute Prohibition? How did that work before? How is it working now?

I see you didn't answer my question: Do you believe the gubmint should tell you what you can & cannot consume?
