Are you still proud of your vote for Barack Obama?

Slightly over half of the votes cast for president in November 2008 were for Barack Obama. One of his first moves was to use our tax money to fund abortions in foreign countries and allow human embryos to be used in research. You were warned that he had radical views on abortion, but voted for him anyway. He claims to be a Christian, but has put more time and energy into choosing a family pet than in choosing a family church. If you are a Christian are you still proud of that vote?

His administration is cutting national defense, tying the hands of the CIA and calling returning veterans "possible terrorists." You were warned that he was weak on defense, but voted for him anyway. If you are a veteran or in the military, are you still proud of that vote?

People are buying guns and ammo and stockpiling them because they are afraid he is going to take guns away and/or put a stiff tax on bullets. You were warned he was in favor of gun control. If you are a hunter or member of the NRA and voted for Obama, are you still proud of that vote?

You were told about his associations with radicals and Chicago thugs. He continues to appoint the same type of lawbreakers to his staff and cabinet. If you are a hardworking citizen who pays his taxes and voted for Obama, are you still proud of that vote?

He was known as the most liberal senator in Congress. Those of you with children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren who voted for Obama now watch him spend your money and put future generations in debt, do you have any second thoughts about voting for him? Do you realize what you have set in motion with your vote? Do you think your offspring will forgive you for selling out your country to socialism and relegating them to a lower standard of living? Are you still proud of your vote?

My mother is a devout Catholic who has defended the church and Catholics repeatedly over the years in conversation with me, but I have been shocked—not surprised, shocked—at her reports about how other Catholics in her congregation blithely voted for Obama. When I read about Christians voting for him, I didn’t believe it. Now I know otherwise, and I have a feeling most of them are still proud of their votes.

Out children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were put into debt by our previous president with TARP. Obama is just adding to their bill.

That’s why I was so shocked. My mother actually looked shell-shocked when we got into this issue. She’s never seen anything like it, and has even been told not to discuss abortion in CCD and other group activities, because that would offend some people!

From WSJ MarketWatch:

For the full fiscal year, which ends in September, the Obama administration expects a deficit of $1.84 trillion. That estimate will undoubtedly be revised higher in July when the administration completes its midsession review of the budget. The economy has been much weaker than was projected in November, when the economic estimates was made.

Despite this, 0bama has his sights set on health care.

And how much of that 1.84 trillion dollar deficit can be attributed to TARP?

The problem is that both Bush and Obama moved to nationalize industry and spend our grandchildren’s money in that process.

And my guess is that McCain would have followed the same road as Bush and Obama and the most frustrating thing about this whole mess is that the only choices we have for government leadership are people that want to do nothing but spend trillions of dollars.

Thank you! I have said the same thing from the beginning. The problem is, many I know have admitted they voted for the big 0.

It's easy to call oneself a Christian, it's much harder to actually be one.

I had "Catholics for Infanticide" bumper stickers available at CafePress, but didn't sell very many of them. I wonder why?

Your own message has the answer to how your question. They call themselves Christians, that doesn't mean they are or ever were. Keep track of any folks you know who call themselves Christian but voted for HusseinO. Now that calling yourself a Christian isn't a socially advantageous convention, they'll be calling themselves something else before the next election. Wicca, Pagan, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, anything BUT Christian is now a social advantage while calling oneself a Christian is now a social detriment.

Maybe once the tares have been separated there will be a sudden, remarkable, unbelievable, turn around. If so, don't forget who abandoned their so called faith. Especially the ones who are “Christian leaders” and rationalize away the evil of HusseinO and his posse.

I hope such a turn around happens and that true Christians realize where their hope and strength lies rather than trying to blend in with the herd. The fact that HusseinO was elected proves the Salt has lost its’ flavor whether Christians want to face that fact or not.

Regards

I don't know what it will take to get people to regret their votes, especially when the MSM are literally bowing to Milhouse and acting as communications department for the White House. I think most of them are quite happy with their vote. They see nothing but positive stories about Milhouse and what's being done is what they voted for. Plus, there are two to three issues out there that will further keep them in the fold: globaloney warming, oil prices, and healthcare.

The drones are still behind globaloney warming so anything Milhouse does is going to be fine with them. They don't believe that cap and trade is going to be the disaster we know it will be, and when the bills go through the roof, the blame will go on industry. This leads to the second point, oil prices. When oil prices continue climbing and gas goes back up over $4, the drones will swoon when Milhouse goes hard after the oil companies and releases oil from the strategic reserve unlike W who did nothing (in their eyes). Finally, the drones believe in nationalized healthcare and with Milhouse making it a summer-long campaign for it, they'll be firmly in his camp.

It seems obvious to us that this is the worst administration in history, doing things that are so foreign to America that the fundamental elements of the country are being altered while empowering our enemies. Where the Clinton administration had the Jamie Gorelick wall that led to 9/11, the Obama administration is doubling down by making the war into an episode of Law and Order. The difference is that we didn't know about the wall while we know exactly what's going with granting terrorists Miranda rights. We have car companies and banks nationalized. If the drones don't see it yet, they're never going to see it or, what seems more likely, this is exactly what they want.

I personally know people who voted for Obama. One is the principal of an elementary Catholic school. Her husband agrees with her.

Another is a judge who graduated from the law school at the University of Notre Dame. His wife agrees with him.

Another is a retired fireman who served in the Navy.

When I hear that these people don’t like Obama anymore, I’ll start being optimistic.

I'd say that the edge is definitely off of the 'pride' about now. A lot of Obama voters I know are now strangely quiet and subdued. We're not yet at the point of open remorse, but certainly the pro-Obama advocates that were so vocal a few months ago have all fallen silent.

In another six months, especially at this rate, the wheels are going to start coming off.

Thats Easy. They are mislead and lack understanding of what being a Christian is. They’ve been fed watered down lies about Christ and scripture at churches who are more interested in a show than the word. They are likely not in frequent fellowship and likely attend church 1.2 time per month on average, and think that is their hell insurance.
The enemy has them confused and twisted up and they dont even know it.
Oprah is their Jesus. a “Free thinking” christian is their pastor. Lukewarm churches abound and thats the thing that is making these folks proclaim they are Christian, but they then support things like Gay marriage, Partial birth abortion, hate speech legislation and betraying israel. Their deceived and some of their hearts are hardening.

Where have I seen this before..... ah yes...revelations....
God is sovereign. Never forget. All things work to his good, even if we don’t get it at the time.....

Time is on our side. Zero has already reached to point of over reach. Combine trillions of borrowed money that was unnecessarily spent, tax increases, universal health care, and cap and trade with rising unemployment and foreclosure rates and even the average simpleton will start to understand who owns this mess.

I agree to a point. I use to work in the inner-city but now work in an affluent part of town, loaded with BMW driving, Starbucks sippin, college educated, image conscience, MSM watchin, zombies. On inauguration day, I was walking through an area and a bunch of the drones called me over to a TV they were huddled around watching CNN broadcast the cooronation of their king. I took one look and remarked that their new messiah's new vehicle was called the beast, and that it was appropriately named. They could not believe that I said anything remotely against their hero on that historic day. After all, to them, nothing improved their image more to others than showing total joy that they elected the first black president. Didn't matter that none of them knew anything about the man they elected. The in thing was being orgasmatic over Barrack Hussein Obama.

Now that alot of them are considered rich by their idol of worship, and face the prospect of paying for their hope and change that they had plastered all over their BMW's in bumper stickers, things are a little different. I no longer see or hear the love they had for Hussein Obama that made them so cool in the eyes of others on inauguration day. Since it's still taboo to express opinions against their annointed one, they just don't mention anything political but instead focus on what is happening on American Idol, and other hollyweird crap.

I guess it's old fashioned to believe in the content of ones character rather than the color of their skin no matter what the consequences.
