The Milky Way is on a collision course with our neighboringg Galaxy too. We should work on a plan to stop this.

Billions of years? In "billions of years" the sun will evolve into a red giant and consume all of the inner planets. So will this be before or after the sun swells up?
Presumably before as there will be little left of the planets once they are inside of the sun.

Everyone always coming to Zathras with problems.
Great responsibilities.
But Zathras does not mind. Zathras trained in crisis management.

And if we manage to avoid that, there's no escaping being engulfed by the sun during its red giant stage. Holy Global Warming, Batman!

Could, would, may, what-if....blah, blah, and blah.
I can read countless books and such that espouse such garbage—this is no different.
Tell you what, let me know when someone is positively SURE, kkthx.

Somebody did a study on this?
That implies that they actually got paid to do this.
I am absolutely in the the wrong line of work for a living......

Reading the article, it's even more laughable. They only found 1% of simulations where Mercury's orbit destabilised to the point where it would affect anything, but that even then, 99.9% of those results were situations where nothing much would happen. Mercury would have to swing near Jupiter for the fun to begin...
"You first need Mercury to be destabilized by gravitational interaction with Jupiter," Laskar said. "Then this may destabilize Mars, which then can come very close to the Earth. Only then can you have destabilization of Venus' orbit and a collision with the Earth." Yeah. Talk about a non-story.

Well, when liberals hijacked science, this was to be expected.
Your tax dollars at work.
But where’s the shrieking, “assault on science” rants?

I blame you.If I were Gauss I could be blamed for the geomagnetic pole flip that is coming someday. Henri was wrong in equating the math of the 3-body problem, actually the 3-point-mass problem, with the physics (rheology especially) of the interactions of various celestial bodies. In my estimation Titus-Bode will hold and there will be no "planetary pandemonium."
Thanks for the ping!

I’m not worried. This can all be avoided if we immediately send 8.3 trillion dollars to each Mercury, Venus and Mars.

Zathras trained in crisis management. Good because we seem to have crisis popping out all over.
But there is symmetry!
