Kenny Rankin was superbly talented, and brought a lot of pleasure with his music.
He was unique.
Used to play him on the radio.
I will miss him.

I cried when I read this last night. Kenny Rankin was such a part of my youth. Everytime he sang near where I lived, I made sure I'd go. He had such a beautiful voice, and a wonderful spirit. I met him once..he knew a cousin of mine very well and when I introduced myself, he was very gracious. For any of you who have never heard his music...here are two of my favorites:
